2>> Second way to get targetted e-mail updates for new content only for the category of your choice goto "my subscriptions" >> "categories" and subscribe to the category of your interest

3>> Third email update is further narrowed down to the links. If you only want to recieve email updates when someone posts a comment on the link of your choice, Just click on "Subscribe Post" link at the bottom of the respective page.

In Summary You can recieve email notifications when

1. There is an update to subscribed content
2. Comments posted by a user.
3. New content added to the subscribed section. and so on.
4. If your submitted link is accepted or rejected.
